¡Magnifico! Arts Incorporated Magnífico Arts Incorporated is Albuquerque's premier, nonprofit visual arts organization providing leadership in the presentation, promotion, and education of contemporary art. Magnífico creates opportunities for artists as well as events for the public with the goal of inspiring dialogue on contemporary art. Located in historic downtown Albuquerque, Magnífico is committed to developing and maintaining the arts in this district. WHAT WE DO Magnífico presents and promotes contemporary art in Albuquerque and provides opportunities for Albuquerque region artists through: Adventurous year-round exhibits and educational programs at our flagship museum-style gallery, 516 Magnífico Artspace. The annual juried contemporary art exhibition, Albuquerque Contemporary, at The Albuquerque Museum Leadership in developing and keeping the arts in downtown Albuquerque as the area is revitalized, including the publication of the biannual Downtown Central Arts District Guide. 	GET INVOLVED Visit 516 Magnífico Artspace in historic downtown Albuquerque on Central between 5th and 6th Streets. All events in the gallery are free and open to the public. Join Magnífico to take advantage of many fun membership benefits! Volunteer in the gallery or at Magnífico events. Check out well-known and up-and-coming Albuquerque artists in Magnífico's Albuquerque Contemporary exhibition at the Albuquerque Museum in July and August. Schedule a free group tour of an exhibit at 516 Magnífico Artspace. Pick up a copy of Magnífico's Central Arts District Guide to find out what is happening in the arts in downtown Albuquerque.
Established in 1991, Magnifico has evolved from presenting an annual festival into organizing arts programs year-round at 516 Magnficio Artspace in downtown Albuquerque. Magnifico partners with other arts organizations, artists, and museums such as the Albuquerque Museum, SITE Santa Fe, UNM Art Museum, Outpost Productions, New Mexico Jazz Workshop, VSA Arts, and the Harwood Art Center, to name a few, for exhibits and public programs. Look for art exhibits; lectures; performance events; poetry; exhibit tours for students, seniors, and community groups; and much more. Magnifico's programs at 516 are intended to provide outreach to as broad an audience as possible, and strive to enhance Albuquerque's national reputation as a high-caliber arts destination.
